Purpose:

We are looking for a Manager I to join our Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting team at our Corporate Headquarters in Natick, MA. This high-visibility position will be responsible for managing the Company’s external and SEC reporting, leading other technical accounting areas, completing ad hoc analysis and projects and assisting in efforts to standardize and update certain of the Company’s global accounting policies. We are looking for someone with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills and analytical capabilities, as well as excellent communication skills and technical accounting knowledge.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manage periodic SEC reporting, including earnings releases, Form 10Qs, 10K, 8K and review of proxy and annual report.



  • Manage filings and XBRL tagging processes using industry leading tool.



  • Host regular disclosure committee meetings with senior level management to ensure proper consideration of reporting topics.



  • Lead implementation of new technical accounting guidance and disclosure requirements.



  • Work closely with Legal, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to prepare, coordinate and review external communications.



  • Communicate with other members of Corporate Accounting & Consolidation, FP&A, Internal Audit, Tax, Treasury, HR and Legal teams, as well as with other Divisional and Regional finance groups across the organization to understand current business trends and accounting items.



  • Work with project team to propose improvements to key accounting policies for Global Finance organization



  • Prepare technical accounting analysis and present & document findings to support decision making by senior management.



  • Research and communicate potential implications of new accounting guidance, including tracking IFRS convergence projects.



  • Assist in management of Corporate SOX 404 testing and other inquiries.



  • Manage relationship with external auditors.

    Requirements:

    6-8 years of accounting experience required, Big Four strongly preferred. CPA required. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
